Bio
Dr. Beth Goforth has been a devoted small animal veterinarian for 46 years. She graduated from the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine in 1980 and completed both a small animal internship and an internal medicine residency at the University of Saskatchewan.
Since 1984, Dr. Goforth has practiced in the Memphis area, including 18 years as the owner and operator of Goforth Animal Hospital in Germantown. She is passionate about the human-animal bond and enjoys caring for all aspects of dog and cat medicine.
Outside of work, Dr. Goforth is a widower, mother to an adult son, and proud grandmother of two grandchildren. She shares her home on a small family farm in Shelby County with four sweet mixed-breed dogs. Her hobbies include gardening, reading, music, church, and spending time with people and animals alike.
Dr. Goforth looks forward to meeting the clients and patients at Southwind Animal Hospital.
