Dr. Conor McNeill joined The Hope Advanced Veterinary Center in 2009. After earning his veterinary degree from Utrecht University in the Netherlands, Dr. McNeill moved to the U.S. to complete a rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery, a residency in medical oncology, and a fellowship in radiation oncology at the Matthew J. Ryan Veterinary Hospital at the University of Pennsylvania.
Dr. McNeill is board-certified in Oncology by the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (ACVIM), and he is an active member of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), the Northern Virginia Veterinary Medical Association (NVVMA), and the Veterinary Cancer Society (VCS).
In addition to his clinical work, Dr. McNeill gives seminars to veterinary professionals across the U.S. and internationally. He also served as an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Oncology at the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine in Blacksburg, VA. Dr. McNeill has been awarded Best Veterinarian in Northern Virginia since 2018. Dr. McNeill currently serves as the medical director of the oncology service at the Hope Advanced Veterinary Center.
