Bio
Dr. Meinert is originally from St. Charles, Missouri and attended the University of Missouri-Kansas City where he earned his BA in Chemistry. After college, Dr. Meinert attended Lincoln Memorial University College of Veterinary Medicine and began his focus on small animal medicine. During fourth year of veterinary school, Dr. Meinert completed a rotating internship program where he spent time at the Kentucky Humane Society, multiple small animal clinics across Tennessee, and completed a 12-week course at the University of Georgia’s Veterinary Teaching Hospital where he focused on small animal orthopedic surgery and emergency medicine.
During his free time, Dr. Meinert enjoys hiking, fishing, and simply being outdoors. An avid golfer and supporter of the St. Louis Blues, Cardinals, and Kansas City Chiefs. Although from Missouri, Dr. Meinert has been adopted by the Vols and occasionally can be found yelling “Go Big O!” on Saturdays.
Dr. Meinert and his wife, Caroline, have called Jackson home since 2021 and will strive to continue to make a positive impact on the community through their work
