Bio
Dr. Harley Johnson is originally from Eastern Tennessee. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Animal Science from Tennessee Technological University. She then went on to attend the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine, graduating in 2024 (Go Vols!). After veterinary school, she completed a one-year small animal rotating internship at Wheat Ridge Animal Hospital in Denver, Colorado, before relocating to Portland to join CRVC.
Dr. Johnson thrives in the fast-paced, challenging environment of emergency medicine. She is committed to building trust with her clients by providing education about disease processes, diagnostics, and treatment strategies, and by maintaining transparency throughout the entire care process.
Outside of work, Dr. Johnson enjoys exploring new places with her senior rescue dog, Baxter, as well as reading, hiking, and discovering the best local food spots. She also shares her home with a highly opinionated leopard gecko named Norbert.
