Bio
Dr. Collins determined in high school that veterinary medicine was the perfect combination of her love for science and animals. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Biology from Iowa State University before pursuing her veterinary degree at the University of Illinois. After vet school, she pursued a rotating internship at a privately owned specialty hospital in Illinois, where she gained extensive experience across multiple specialties. Since then, she has worked in both urgent care and general practice, giving her a well-rounded perspective on patient care.
Her professional interests include internal medicine, oncology, and dermatology—areas where she enjoys digging into complex cases and helping pets live healthier, more comfortable lives.
When she’s not caring for patients, Dr. Collins loves working out, traveling, and exploring all that Colorado has to offer. She and her significant other share their home with four dogs—Duke (a Beagle–Basset Hound mix), Gus (a Golden Retriever), Scout (a Staffordshire Terrier/Lab mix), and Winston (a Yorkshire Terrier mix)—who make every day an adventure.
