Dr. Speer is the Equine Surgery & Medicine Medical Director with over 37 years of experience in providing exceptional Equine Medicine care.
He joined the practice in 1988 after graduating from Kansas State University. Over the years, he has been instrumental in mentoring and guiding new Doctors into the Equine Medicine field.
Dr. Paul Ryding was his mentor and he eventually purchased the practice upon Dr. Ryding’s retirement. He takes pride in his commitment and dedication to providing the best care and guidance in the Equine community. He is readily available to his clients for questions or emergency treatment and is beloved in the Equine Community.
In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his family (especially his grandchildren), fishing and his annual 4th of July gala!
