Bio
Dr. D'Cruz was born in the deserts of Dubai and growing up in the suburbs of the Canadian tundra in Toronto. He has always enjoyed and still loves to travel with his wife and fresh baby boy. He completed undergraduate studies at the University of Toronto with majors in Neuroscience focused on Amyloid B research and Entomology focusing on widow spiders.
Dr. D'Cruz completed his veterinary training through St Matthews University in the Cayman Islands in 2016 with clinical training at the University of Minnesota. His special interests in medicine include exotic animal medicine, lab/research animal medicine, canine rehabilitation, soft tissue and orthopedic surgery, and neurology.
Outside of work, Dr. D'Cruz enjoys time in his ever-growing garden, spending time outdoors with his family and dogs; Winnifred (lab/ border collie mix) and Tennessee (hound mix). He continues to be an advocate for client education, promoting the humane-animal bond and will probably include too much detail when discussing a patient's situation and needs.
