Bio
Dr. Julie Corral was born in Southern California and received her B.S. in Animal Science from University of California, Davis. She worked as a small animal technician in Los Angeles prior to completing her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at University of Pennsylvania in 2022.
Dr. Corral completed her rotating internship in San Diego at an equine hospital before moving back to the East Coast for her small animal Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation specialty internship at VRA. In 2024, Dr. Corral obtained her rehabilitation certification from North Carolina State University’s CCAT program to better help her patients’ mobility issues.
Dr. Corral is currently performing her Canine Sports Medicine residency under Dr. Matt Brunke. Her primary interests includes working dog medicine, chronic pain management, and functional mobility in pets. She prioritizes a practical approach to patient management and believes in collaborative medicine.
In her free time, Dr. Corral enjoys baking sourdough, hiking, and riding horses. She has a Belgian Malinois, Avalanche, who keeps her on her toes.
