Bio
Dr. Linder is a board-certified veterinary surgeon who grew up in the Midwest and earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Wisconsin–Madison. She completed a rotating internship at Wheat Ridge Animal Hospital in Denver, followed by a year of specialized surgical training at VCA Animal Specialty and Emergency Center in Los Angeles. She then completed her surgical residency at VCA West Los Angeles Animal Hospital and has spent the past five-plus years practicing at a busy surgical specialty hospital in Los Angeles before returning to Colorado to join the surgery team at VRCC.
Dr. Linder has extensive experience across a wide range of surgical procedures and is particularly passionate about soft tissue reconstruction, oncologic surgery, hepatobiliary surgery, thoracic surgery, minimally invasive surgery, and advanced wound management. She also enjoys fracture repair and TPLO procedures for cranial cruciate ligament injuries. Dr. Linder remains actively involved in clinical research and has published on tilapia skin xenografting for advanced wound management, as well as the use of radiation therapy as an alternative to surgery for aggressive adrenal tumors.
Outside of work, Dr. Linder enjoys adventuring outdoors with her dogs, Cricket and Tuna, spoiling her cats, Pancake and Cooper, and spending time cooking and gardening.
