Bio
Born in Knoxville, Tennessee, Dr. Matthew Wendelken earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine in 2003. Shortly after graduation, he relocated to North Carolina to begin his professional practice, where he has been dedicated to animal health for over two decades.
Outside of the clinic, he is a DIY enthusiast who enjoys tackling home improvement projects. He also finds balance in the outdoors, hiking through local trails and exploring new landscapes through his love of traveling.
Matthew lives in North Carolina with his wife and their lively household of two dogs and four cats. Whether he is navigating a renovation or a mountain path, he enjoys the company of his family and pets.
