Bio
Dr. Maxi Malmstrom is a 2025 graduate of Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Originally from Nashville, TN, she began working at Animal Medical Center in 2018 as a veterinary assistant before going to vet school. She’s always had a passion for emergency medicine and feline care earning her class’s Feline Veterinary Medicine Association Outstanding Senior Award at graduation this spring.
In her free time, she enjoys reading books and knitting blankets with her 4 cats, Ash, Luna, Rigby, and Chowder, and going to Centennial Park with her husband, Zach, and dog, Ruby. When she’s not at work, you can usually find her at a local used bookstore.
Dr. Malmstrom is excited to be back in Middle Tennessee and can’t wait to meet all of her new patients and clients!
