She earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from California’s Western University of Health Sciences School of Veterinary Medicine in 2020. Before becoming a veterinarian, Dr. Sara worked for several years in biomedical research at George Washington University in Washington, DC.

According to Dr. Sara, being a veterinarian has many satisfying aspects: “I take pleasure in caring for my patient’s health issues and educating my clients on what is best for their pets. I feel gratified when I see that my patients are receiving the best care possible at the hospital and home.”

Dr. Sara is an avid animal lover, dedicating her profession to providing care and treatment for companion animals and spending much of her free time assisting with rescuing and adopting stray and homeless animals, including the Feral Kitty TNR program.

She and her husband live with their four-legged babies, rescued coonhounds Jellybean, Candy Cane, JoJo, Lucy, Bella (Pitty), Sawyer (Soy Soy/ Golden retriever) and a handful of rescued kitties.
