Bio
Dr. Vanessa Chavez earned her bachelor’s degree in Animal Science from Cal Poly Pomona in 2020. She went on to complete her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at Western University of Health Sciences in 2025. She has worked in the veterinary field since high school and is dedicated to delivering compassionate, high-quality care. Her clinical interests include both general practice and emergency medicine, and she is focused on continually advancing her skills.
Dr. Chavez was born in Montebello, CA, and raised in Norco, Horsetown USA. She grew up around both small and large animals and was riding horses before she could walk.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her son Oscar and family.
