Bio
Dr. Houston-Jones is an associate veterinarian at Rocklin Road Animal Hospital who is committed to providing compassionate, high-quality care for dogs and cats (plus the occasional pocket pet!). Dr. Houston-Jones earned her degree in Animal Biology at UC Davis, and later returned to earn her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree. Originally a Bay Area native, Dr. Houston-Jones fell in love with the greater Sacramento area and is excited to serve the local community here.
Dr. Houston-Jones enjoys small animal general practice, with special interests in soft tissue surgery (particularly spays and neuters), preventative medicine, and exotic animal medicine. Dr. Houston-Jones is passionate about nurturing the human-animal bond and creating meaningful relationships with clients built on trust, communication, and gold-standard care.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Houston-Jones enjoys singing, baking, and playing games with her friends. She shares her home with her wonderful husband, dog, and two cats. Dr. Houston-Jones looks forward to welcoming you and your pets, and is honored to be a part of their lifelong healthcare journey.
