Bio
Dr. Toni Michaels received her undergraduate degree from Lafayette College where she majored in Chemistry. She worked as a quality assurance chemist for three years at a Fortune 500 company before deciding to follow her dream and go back to vet school. Dr. Michaels received her veterinary degree from University College Dublin in Ireland. While at UCD, Dr. Michaels developed her skills with both small and large animals working in traditional hospitals as well as assisting veterinarians on local farms.
After vet school, Dr. Michaels decided to return home to Long Island to be close to family and continue her training as a small animal rotating intern at Atlantic Coast New York Veterinary Specialists where she aims to hone her clinical skills.
In her spare time, Dr. Michaels enjoys spending time with her family, partner and her dog, Fletcher, riding her horse, Prada, traveling, and doing anything outdoors.
