Bio
Dr. Hart grew up in Orange County, California and graduated from Cal Poly Pomona in 1980 with a degree in animal science. After graduation she fulfilled a dream of becoming a Peace Corps volunteer. Her experience in the Peace Corps sent her on a path toward veterinary medicine, and she graduated in 1988 from the University of Florida.
She completed an internship in the San Francisco Bay area, afterward accepting a position at a 24-hr veterinary practice in the San Fernando Valley. She stayed there for 24 years, focusing on emergency medicine, surgery, and critical care.
From 2013-2025 she became a fulltime associate at East Valley Veterinary in Sun Valley. Now she eagerly looks forward to continuing her long veterinary career at Park Animal Hospital. She has a special interest helping pet caregivers take an active role in their pet’s health decisions by educating, engaging, and collaborating with them.
